In Loving Memory of Bristow
Bristow was another beautiful girl from my mentor, and although we hadn't planned on adding another Great Dane to our family, she came into our lives when our hearts were still aching from the loss of our beloved Maddie. Looking back, I truly believe she arrived when we needed her most. From the very beginning, Bristow filled our home with laughter. She was full of life, endlessly entertaining, and always ready for her next adventure. As a puppy, I often joked that she must have been part goat because she loved climbing on absolutely everything she could find. Her playful antics, joyful spirit, and larger-than-life personality made every day brighter. To me, she was the perfect combination of beauty, intelligence, and heart. Tragically, we lost Bristow following a sudden medical emergency that required emergency surgery. After waiting hours for veterinary care, it was discovered that she was suffering from severe internal bleeding. Despite every effort to save her, the damage was simply too great, and she never woke from surgery. Losing Bristow was one of the hardest experiences our family has ever faced. While her time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories she gave us will last a lifetime. She reminded us to embrace each day with joy and to cherish every moment we have with those we love. Bristow will always be deeply missed, forever loved, and an irreplaceable part of the story of Meraki Great Danes. |

- May 2020: Earned her Trick Dog Intermediate and Trick Dog Advanced titles.
- April 2021: Earned her 2K-9 Fitness Specialty title through Do More With Your Dog.

• Best of Winners and Best of Opposite on Thursday under Judge Tempest Deptuch.
• Best of Winners and Best of Opposite on Saturday under Judge Stephen Dainard. - West Kootenay Kennel Club (2021):
• Awarded Group 4 under Judge Terry Carter.
• Awarded Group 3 under Judge Darle Heck. - Calgary Kennel & Obedience Club (2021): Awarded Best of Breed over Specials for 3 points and went on to a Group 2 placement under Judge Kim Hamel, finishing her Championship.
