Tiger Lily
Tiger Lily is another beautiful pup from my wonderful mentor, and I feel so fortunate to have spent a week with her and her littermates before bringing this little princess home. She is full of spunk and zest for life, yet always polite and respectful. I call her my princess because, from the very beginning, she could do no wrong—never once chewing a cupboard, a shoe, or anything she shouldn’t. She has truly been one of the easiest dogs I’ve had the privilege to train, especially as a steady, reliable family companion. Tiger Lily loves to run full tilt outdoors (and occasionally “prune” my trees), but she’s just as content to curl up on the couch when it’s time to relax. She delights in warm sunny days, basking in the heat, and spending time with our chickens. Inside the house, she’s often found alongside our oldest daughter—whether playing dress-up, curled up together, or simply keeping close by. She’s an independent thinker who enjoys doing her own thing, yet will happily follow you anywhere… as long as you ask nicely. Words hardly capture how much we love this girl. After producing two lovely litters, Tiger Lily is now enjoying a well-deserved retirement. She reigns as queen of the couch, an avid sunbather, and a playful “grandma” to her grandpups. Legacy While Tiger Lily's accomplishments in the show ring, therapy work, and performance events are something to be proud of, her greatest contribution to Meraki Great Danes is the legacy she has left through her offspring. As the foundation female of our breeding program, Tiger Lily has passed on the qualities that made her so special—her loving temperament, intelligence, trainability, athleticism, and zest for life. Her descendants continue to demonstrate the versatility and soundness that she exemplified throughout her life, excelling as family companions, show dogs, performance partners, and therapy dogs. Through carefully planned breedings, Tiger Lily has produced dogs that continue to shape the future of Meraki Great Danes. Her influence can be seen in multiple generations of our breeding program, and many of the traits we value most today can be traced directly back to her. |

- January 2019 (7 months old): Earned her Novice Trick Dog title through Do More With Your Dog and the American Kennel Club.
- August 2019:
• Won Reserve Winners Bitch at the GDCA Western Regional Specialty.
• Took Best of Winners at the Edmonton Kennel Club Show for 3 points, finishing her Championship. - Fall 2019: Passed her Therapy Dog assessment.
- August 2020: Earned her Trick Dog Intermediate and Trick Dog Advanced titles.
- March 2021: Completed her AKC Virtual Home Manners.
- April 2021: Earned her 2K-9 Fitness Specialty title through Do More With Your Dog.
- May 2021: Recognized with the Versatile Great Dane award by the Great Dane Club of Canada.
- 2021–present: Beloved best friend to one of the sweetest little girls I know.
- May 2023: Won Best Altered in Group at the Hub City Show.
- August 2023: Awarded Best Altered in Specialty at the Great Dane Club of Canada National under respected judge Dana Cline.

A Girl and Her Dog
Tiger Lily has always been my eldest daughter’s dog. In fact, Chloe even helped name her—she was a big Peter Pan fan at the time, and the name fit perfectly. From the very beginning, their bond has been something truly special and so heartwarming to witness. The patience and gentleness Tiger Lily shows toward Chloe speaks volumes about her loving nature. Whether they’re playing dress-up, curled up together, or simply enjoying each other’s company, the connection they share is beautiful to see. Tiger Lily isn’t just Chloe’s dog—she’s her confidant, her playmate, and her constant companion. Watching their relationship grow has been one of the greatest joys of having Tiger Lily in our lives. |
